Hope Is on the Horizon

Updated: Apr 5, 2022

Welcome to our Brainstorm Blog! We want to use this platform to educate, encourage and lift up our love of creative design for change.

For our first blogpost, we’d like to focus on the challenges facing small businesses in our country as we begin to recover from this ongoing pandemic season. According to a recent article from The Point Guys, many companies have temporarily closed their doors, unsure of when or if they will be able to fully reopen. And even for those who have remained open--or are able to reopen--they’ve been working hard to keep customers coming through their doors and visiting online. A poll conducted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce states that 70% of small businesses are still concerned about the financial impact of COVID-19 on their business, with 58% fearing they may have to close permanently.

The future may seem a little uncertain as mask mandates are being enforced again in certain places and the Delta Variant is spreading throughout the country. The good news is that there is still a demand for goods and services. As we all are coming to terms with the Pandemic and the change it brings, we continue to pray and hope for a return to a better lifestyle for all of us. And with change comes innovation and creativity.
